Programme
The programme aims and expanding and consolidating knowledge and skills gained in the course of 1st cycle Electroradiology programme. Graduate is prepared to organise the work of a team of electroradiologists and make decisions in crisis situations. Graduate is allowed to provide theoretical and practical training/teaching to electroradiologists following the 1st and 2nd cycle programme. Graduate is prepared to undertake scientific work, design scientific research and write scientific publications. He/she is familiar with legal regulations applicable to his/her profession and is able to apply them in his/her professional work. Graduate may be employed in managerial positions and as a teaching-and-research or teaching staff member in universities. Graduate demonstrates specialist knowledge of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. He/She is prepared to:
- perform specialist diagnostic procedures;
- organise and supervise the work of electroradiology technicians and electroradiologists and to make decisions in crisis situations;
- manage team works at a workplace;
- ensure quality of radiological diagnostics;
- develop and implement radiological diagnostics standards;
- conduct research and publish results/findings.
Employment opportunities for graduates of electroradiology include: radiology and imaging diagnostics, therapeutic radiology, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine facilities, ECG, EEG and EMG labs, audiology and clinical physiology test rooms, dentist’s offices providing full range of services, and medical equipment marketing companies as a electroradiologist, in managerial positions and in higher education establishments.
Graduate is awarded a professional title of magister [Polish equivalent of Master’s degree].
