2nd cycle programme in Health Management aims at educating professionals with extensive knowledge and skills necessary in healthcare management, both in public and private sector, addressing the current systemic challenges, including economic, regulatory, political, ethical, organisational and social ones. Delivered by the UJ CM Faculty of Health Sciences - Department of Public Health in collaboration with the Faculty of Management and Social Communication and its Department of Public Affairs, Department of Economics, Finance and Management, and Department of Journalism, Media, and Social Communication the programme offers a unique interdisciplinary approach to governance and management in healthcare sector. It addresses considerable demand on the job market, reinforced by Covid 19 pandemics, for professionals demonstrating specialist knowledge and skills in solving healthcare management problems. Competences developed in the course of the programme will be desirable in various healthcare institutions operating on the systemic level (e.g. central administration / local governments), in entities providing healthcare services (hospitals, out-patient clinics), and also in auxiliary sector (commercial companies providing medicinal products or software). Graduates of Healthcare Management will be also prepared to work in research and teaching positions and universities in the field of healthcare.

Graduate is awarded a professional title of magister [Polish equivalent of Master’s degree].
