Professional title awarded to graduates: doctor of dental surgery

Studia na kierunku lekarsko-dentystycznym to jednolite studia magisterskie, które trwają 10 semestrów. Program pierwszych trzech lat studiów obejmuje nauczanie z zakresu teoretycznych dyscyplin nauk medycznych. Studenci zapoznawani są z zasadami etyki oraz uczą się relacji i komunikacji z pacjentem. W ramach stomatologii odbywają się zajęcia przedkliniczne, stanowiące przygotowanie studenta do pracy z pacjentem. W kolejnych latach nauczanie obejmuje nauki kliniczne. W toku studiów realizowany jest również program licznych kursów fakultatywnych, np. z zakresu cytobiologii medycznej oraz dyscyplin klinicznych poszerzających obowiązujący zakres wiedzy z przedmiotów kierunkowych. Do zaliczenia poszczególnych lat studiów niezbędne jest odbycie praktyk programowych w zakresie asysty lekarzowi dentyście oraz w zakresie praktyki w gabinecie stomatologicznym. Absolwenci kierunku lekarsko-dentystycznego otrzymują dyplom i tytuł zawodowy lekarz dentysta.
