Program studiów obejmuje wiedzę z różnych dyscyplin naukowych, w tym nauk medycznych, nauk o zdrowiu, zarządzania, ekonomii, prawa oraz nauk społecznych. Celem programu studiów jest przygotowanie absolwenta do pracy na samodzielnych stanowiskach w programach ochrony zdrowia, promocji zdrowia, profilaktyki, a także na stanowiskach kierowniczych w instytucjach systemu ochrony zdrowia, w tym inspekcji sanitarnej oraz jednostkach świadczących usługi zdrowotne. Program studiów realizowany jest w części także przez studentów uczestniczących w europejskim programie Europubhealth plus w ramach konsorcjum sześciu europejskich uczelni: EHESP School of Public Health, Francja, University of Sheffield’s School of Health and Related Research, Wielka Brytania, University of Granada – Andalusian School of Public Health, Hiszpania, University of Rennes 1, Francja, Maastricht University, Holandia oraz Uniwersytet Jagielloński.

Absolwent studiów uzyskuje tytuł magistra.
