Program studiów stanowi uzupełnienie i pogłębienie wiedzy i umiejętności uzyskanych w programie studiów pierwszego stopnia na kierunku położnictwo. Absolwent jest przygotowany do świadczenia opieki specjalistycznej nad kobietą w zakresie ginekologiczno-położniczym, w tym edukacji, kierowania na badania diagnostyczne, ordynowania leków i wystawianie zleceń na wyroby medyczne oraz udziału w badaniach naukowych.

Absolwent studiów uzyskuje tytuł magistra położnictwa.
